Core Values

Core values are those values that are central to the ethos of a person. These values form the basis of the decision-making process of the person.

I will be the Spiritual Head of my Home

  - For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church – Ephesians 5:23(a)

  - Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. – Ephesians 6:4

I will follow God’s calling on my life

  - "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." At once they left their nets and followed him. – Matthew 4:19-20

  - The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.  – John 21:17

I will be biblically literate

  - I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. – Psalm 119:11

  - Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. – Deuteronomy 11:18

I will be Salt and Light

  - You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again – Matthew 5:13

  - You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. – Matthew 5:14
